Just Some Crazy Lip Designs!

Hey guys!

I'll be posting some random crazy makeup I have been doing a few times a week! I have been finding tons of old pics on my computer as well as some new looks I have been doing so I figured I would share! Hope you enjoy!!!

                          All of these looks were done using my BH Cosmetics 66 lip palette

                                                        ^just a pretty ombre blue lip^

                           ^this was done using a shimmery pastel purple, pink, blue and copper^

                           ^it looks blue toned in this pic but this red is actually a red-orange^
                                             ^and I thew some red flakies I had on top^

Goodies from MOI MINERALS!! PIC HEAVY

 Hey Everyone!

I recently purchased some awesome products from the lovely Holly from Moi Minerals. She has some AMAZING stuff! The quality and unique colors she provides are unparalleled as well as being an amazing business owner with great customer service. You can purchase HERE. The prices are great and she has a HUGE array of products such as lip gloss, lip balms, eyeshadow, vegan products, face products and also brushes. If you haven't checked out Moi Minerals before, there's something for everyone and you will be glad you did :) The company is also animal cruelty free, which is a major plus for me.

I ordered on 7/4 and received my order 8/5 which is a reasonable time period for an indie company. SO in the mail came my lovely little box full of goodies and I almost died when I saw the colors. Also, all the swatches are over E.L.F $1 dollar primer.

First of all look at how freaken cute the box she sent me is :)

"Angel Kisses"-                  (no flash)                                           (with flash)

This is a gorgeous true gold with a slight sparkle. It is has a yellow tone to it but not overly yellow.
This one is brand new and is not available yet, but will be soon.

"Golden Touch"-             (no flash)                                              (with flash)

This one has a slight green tone to it, almost olive, and I freaken love it! Its really metallic, it looks alot like gold leaf. This one is also brand new so it is not available yet.

"Pure Gold"-                    (no flash)                                           (with flash)

Pure Gold has an orange-y yellow tone to it, it its shimmery with out being glittery. It reminds me of 18k gold. This is a discontinued shade.

This one is my favorite gold in the bunch! It is a little more shimmery than golden touch with a slightly different green-gold hue to it. I am inlove with this!!!

OMG. This one is AMAZING!! Its a gorgeous taupe-y grey with an amazing duo chrome. The shift leans towards blue but I definitely see a little green and gold in there too. The camera does not capture the true beauty of this, but when foiled its has a cool metallic look to it.

I mean does this one even need an introduction? This color is SICK. Its super opaque, this is over primer but it really didn't need it. I'm trying to think of a green color that this reminds me of but I cant because to my eye it has a few different color sparkles in it, the swatch looks solid green but it totally has different eye catching tones to it. This isn't on the site yet, Holly will be reintroducing it very soon, so be on the lookout :)

"Mercy"-                             (no flash)                                          (with flash)

This color is unreal. I was speechless for a good 5 minutes when I first saw this. I included a jar picture and I hope everyone can see the blue flash thats in that jar. Its more intense in person. I think my brain got confused when I saw this because I couldn't "understand" this color. It is soooo multi-dimensional and so intense I couldnt even describe. I don't think I can still. haha. When swatched over primer it becomes an amazing copper-y rose shade. I have NEVER seen anything else like this, and will be purchasing back up jars. :)

"Viper"-                        (no flash)                                                (with flash)

RED MATTE AMAZING-NESS. This is an amzing orange-y red MATTE shade that blends like a freaken dream and is awesomely opaque, this is over primer as well but even without it, it is gorgeous! I have finally found my perfect matte red. This would be an amazing lippy as well because I believe the color is super flattering on many skin tones.

China Glaze SWANKY SILK SWATCH/REVIEW!!!!

Hey hey!!


So in my last post I told you all I purchased the entire China Glaze Bohemian Collection, and in that post I only reviewed "Rare and Radiant" because I was so excited I had to put in on immediately lol. So after a few days I took that one off and put on "Swanky Silk". I am not even joking that this is totally my favorite color so far, it is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The duo chrome in this one is not very strong although you can see a slight color shift. I honestly don't even care because it is stunning! The color shifts from a light gold (almost 14k?) to a pretty olive-y green in some light and then a pinky rose gold color in other light. I tried my best to catch the color shift but as I do not have a quality camera it was very difficult, and I apologize for that. I apologize in advance for my ragged cuticles, I have been having a stressful week and have been biting lately :(.

ANYWAY- on to the SWATCHES!!!! yay!!!

*The finish on this one is super pretty, its more satin than shimmer and its metallic in the sun! LOVE

 Here you can kind of see the olive tone to it, the color shift is definitely more apparent in real life :(

I love how this polish is a light gold color with no yellow tones to it. Yellow doesn't flatter my skin tone at all so this one is perfect. It was pretty much impossible to capture the rose gold/pink shift I can see with my own eyes. I think its time to invest in a better camera haha. All of these pictures were with 2 coats, but it was opaque with only 1 coat :). There are no visible brush strokes which is AMAZING because there is nothing more I hate than brush lines. The only issue I had with this polish that I did not have with "Rare and Radiant" was this one chipped after 2 days, but that could be because I have had my hands in water a lot while I had this one on so we will have to see what the others in the collection are like.

Time for a little hair care!

Hey Everyone!!!

Today I wanna talk about hair. Trust me when I say hair is NOT my forte and I really have no patience for it (thank god I have a hair dresser in the family lol) but I like it to be healthy and undamaged. That would make sense if I never dyed my hair, never took a blow dryer to it and never straightened it, but sadly I have done all of those things. From the time I turned 15 my hair has been dyed a different color every 2 months, I have gone from red to jet black to blonde back to black to brown so on and so forth. If you can't already tell my hair has had some SERIOUS damage done to it and as I get older I notice it getting drier and thinner. I have had 2 kids and it seemed each pregnancy my hair thinned a little, no I am not going bald I have plenty of hair it just doesn't seem as thick anymore. So I finally had enough of brittle dry hair about 2 months ago and this family member of mine gave me a Keratin Treatment. She put all this goopy stuff in, blow dried it in as well as straightening it and I had to leave it in for 3 days. It wasn't that bad until the 3rd day when it looked like I rolled around in an oil slick and I couldn't wait to wash the crap out. I was given a special shampoo and conditioner that doesn't contain Sodium Chloride or Sodium Sulfate (that's what makes shampoo lather) because that stuff strips the keratin out.

So I washed the treatment out and I almost died because my hair felt AMAZING. Literally, it felt like it had never been damaged at all. I was so happy I almost cried, my hair has felt so bad for so long I was relieved because I was seriously considering shaving my head lol.

So I was also recommended to try the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Spray with Keratin. I was hesitant because this stuff is kind of expensive but once I tried it and saw what it did to my hair I HAD TO GET IT. I found it on Ebay for 30.00 for 10oz and I know it seems like alot but I have seen the tiny 4oz bottles for almost 20.00 so I figured what the hell, the 10oz will last me a really long time. I spray this all over my hair, maybe about 4-5 sprays.

For the last 3 years I have been using Moroccan Oil and It really has done wonders for my hair. This stuff is also kind of expensive but a big bottle has lasted me almost a year so for the 35.00 its definitely worth it to me. I use this just on the ends of my hair to stop frizzy-ness and split ends.

All of this stuff has repaired my hair and I am so happy with it now. So my question to all of you is, What products do you use to keep your hair healthy if any at all? Leave a comment down below!

Random EOTD!!!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to do a quick post on one of my fav EOTD's to do. I created this using Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Flambe, Moi Minerals Galaxy and TKB Trading's Hilite Turquoise!
